Formula 1 will celebrate with Moët & Chandon champagne at the award ceremonies again starting next year. Bernard Arnault, CEO of the luxury goods group LVMH, which owns the champagne house Moët & Chandon, signed a ten-year contract worth 930 million euros with the representatives of the Formula 1 owners. He plans for the cooperation "tailored actions, limited editions, and exclusive content." This marks the end of the era of the Italian sparkling wine Ferrari Trento, which has provided the bottles for the celebrations on the winner's podium since 2021. Moët & Chandon was already present at the first Grand Prix of France in Reims in 1950. The spraying of the sparkling wine became the usual ritual at award ceremonies of car races starting in 1967.
