Pfalz native Charlotte Weihl (Image center) has been elected the 76th German Wine Queen. The 25-year-old student was able to prevail in the final in Neustadt an der Weinstraße against her four competitors. Julia Lambrich from the Middle Rhine and Katharina Gräff from the Nahe will support Weihl as German Wine Princesses for one year.
“With the newly elected Majesties Trio, three exceptionally knowledgeable and sovereign representatives will competently represent the local wines worldwide,” said Steffen Schindler, marketing director of the German Wine Institute (DWI), after the decision.
As German Wine Majesties, the three winners will be on the road for one year on behalf of the German Wine Institute (DWI) at around 200 events in Germany and abroad.
