The Alsace Wine Association has announced a second edition of the innovative online trade fair "Millésimes Alsace Digitasting" for 2023. For the first time, the new fair concept took place in 2021 as a so-called "phygital" wine fair. At that time, 10,000 tasting sets were sold and almost 4,000 visitors were counted. According to a survey by the wine association, 97 percent of the visitors questioned want to participate in the next hybrid fair.
The trade fair is scheduled to take place at the end of February 2023 and combines video meetings with on-site tastings. For this, tasting sets with mini samples will be sent free of charge to 55 states. In addition, live masterclasses will be offered in two time zones. The tasting packages can be ordered from 25 October 2022 to 9 January 2023.
