The entrepreneur and owner of the VDP wine estates Heitlinger *** and Burg Ravensburg ***, Heinz Heiler, has passed away at the age of 84. Heiler was particularly committed to biodynamic agriculture and was recently honoured by Gault & Millau as a "pioneer of organic viticulture". In addition to the two wineries, the Heitlinger Golf Resort and the Heitlinger Hof and Kreuzberghof hotels belong to the Heitlinger Genusswelten (Worlds of Pleasure), which he founded.
