The Tinazzi family business, based in Lazise on Lake Garda, has taken over the Pian Del Gallo vineyard in Chianti Classico. The organically farmed estate in Greve in Chianti comprises 5.5 hectares of vineyards. Chianti Classico DOCG and Toscana IGT are produced. The farm also includes an olive grove, from whose olives certified organic olive oil is produced. The sale was made through the agricultural company Campopian, which is controlled by Tinazzi. So far, the three wineries Poderi Campopian in Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella, Cascina Montelupo in Custoza and Tenuta Valleselle in Bardolino belong to it.

"It is a great satisfaction for us to be able to buy a winery in one of the most famous appellations in Tuscany. This estate will become one of our flagships", said Gian Andrea Tinazzi, managing director of Cantine Tinazzi.
