The Düsseldorf trade fair company is extending Prowein 2021 from three to five days due to the hygiene and safety regulations against Corona. According to a press release from the trade fair, it will take place from Friday, 19 March to Tuesday, 23 March 2021. With this change in duration, it wants to guarantee one of the central requirements of the safety regulations and at the same time "steer the exhibitor and visitor volume of the world's most important and largest trade fair for wines and spirits into responsible channels". For this reason, the trade fair company is reducing access to a maximum of 10,000 visitors per day next year.
