Vinexpo Paris 2024 recorded 20 per cent more exhibitors and, at 41,253, around 14 per cent more visitors than in 2023. More than half of the 4,074 exhibitors did not come from France, but from 48 other countries. At 41 per cent, the proportion of non-French visitors was in line with the trade fair organisers' goal of achieving a 60:40 ratio of French to foreign visitors. As announced by Vinexpo Paris, around a third more buyers came from the five most important export markets of Italy, Belgium, the UK, the USA and Germany. However, many Asian visitors, who are expected at Vinexpo Asia in Hong Kong at the end of May, were absent.

The proportion of spirits producers also increased, with exhibitors from 26 countries. They occupied almost 50 per cent more space than in 2023, with around 200 companies exhibiting non-alcoholic wines and spirits. The number of international exhibitors in this segment almost doubled compared to the previous year. In the run-up to the trade fair, 10,146 appointments were arranged online between buyers and producers.

Vinexpo Managing Director Rodolphe Lameyse expressed his satisfaction: "The number of international visitors is higher than expected. In the fifth year of the trade fair, we are already where I wanted to be with it."
