The annual study by Brand Finance shows Moët & Chandon as the most valuable wine and champagne brand in the world. The value of the brand, which belongs to the luxury goods group LVMH, has increased by 15 per cent and is calculated at 1.4 billion US dollars (1.38 billion euros). Brand Finance cites permanent work on the product range and strong retail partnerships as the reason for the Champagne House's dominance. With Moët & Chandon, Veuve Cliquot and Chandon, three brands of the LVMH group occupy the first three places in the ranking, joined by Dom Perignon in fifth place.

The fastest growing wine and champagne brand is Lindeman's from Australia, which grew by 81 per cent and thus entered the top ten. Lindeman's has converted its entire wine portfolio to carbon neutral and is working towards using only renewable energy by 2024.
