The city of Karlsruhe will become the location for the new wine trade fair Eurovino. The founding advisory board of the fair, consisting of many wine experts, voted unanimously for the new format at the end of June 2022. It is to explicitly address the trade audience. According to Frank Thieme, divisional director of Messe Karlsruhe, the aim is to create "a solid, carefully designed and affordable trade fair offer in the heart of Germany's largest wine-growing regions". The fair is in close contact with the industry in order to incorporate everything that is important for exhibitors and visitors into the concept of Eurovino.

Dr. Hermann Pilz, member of the advisory board, said about the new concept: "For some time now, we have noticed that producers of high-quality and innovative wines from the German and European market have been lacking an independent, focused platform. The idea is to offer producers and marketers from Germany and neighbouring countries a well-structured range of high-quality wines. An accompanying supporting programme is intended to provide visitors from the wine trade, food retail and gastronomy with valuable insights that will help them in their everyday work to design innovative and high-quality wine assortments and thus stimulate their sales."

It is not yet known when the trade fair is to take place for the first time. Further information is to be published shortly at www.eurovino.info.
