On Saturday 25 May 2024, VieVinum, Austria's largest and most important wine event, will kick off in the Vienna Hofburg, the former imperial residence. In addition to the showcase of Austrian wine with all renowned winemakers, this time the focus is on Greece as the guest country. In the "School of Wine", visitors can learn about specific topics in several masterclasses. Over 100 Blaufränkisch wines from six countries can be discovered at the "United Nations of Kékfrankos, Blaufränkisch, Lemberger, Frankovka, Modra Frankinja" tasting bar.

For the first time, VieVinum will dedicate a separate tasting zone on Monday to the trend topic of alcohol-free wines, where producers will also be on hand to provide direct information. There will also be a special masterclass on Sunday entitled "Alcohol-free wines - here to stay", moderated by wein.plus editor Alexander Lupersböck.

VieVinum runs until Monday 27 May. Tickets and further information here.
