The Cité internationale de la gastronomie et du vin opened its doors on 6 May 2022. An ambitious 6.5 hectare, 250 million euro project, initiated by the city of Dijon 10 years ago. It is one of the major urban development projects of the year 2022 in France. It combines the renovation of 15th and 18th century buildings with modern architectural construction by the architect Anthony Béchu.

At the heart of this new district of Dijon, the Cité internationale de la gastronomie et du vin invites visitors to discover and understand the "French gastronomic meal", which is included on the UNESCO list of intangible heritage, through exhibition spaces and a varied cultural offer linked to the art of living, an exceptional wine cellar, prestigious training courses, fine shops, an event kitchen and three restaurants emblematic of French know-how.
