The former winemaker of Dom Pérignon, Richard Geoffroy, changes to the renowned Franciacorta producer Bellavista in Lombardy. There he will work as an advisor to president Francesca Moretti.
Owner Vittorio Moretti and Bellavista managing director Massimo Tuzzi confirmed his start on Facebook: "Richard will help Francesca Moretti to acquire all the necessary skills, both professional and human, to lead and shape the future of Bellavista". She was appointed in 2020 to succeed her father Vittorio.
Born in 1954, Geoffroy worked at Dom Pérignon for 28 years until he stepped down in 2019. He had then been involved in the production and marketing of sake.
