At ProWein, the strict access and distance rules will no longer apply. This was announced by Messe Düsseldorf. Those responsible have removed the restrictions on access only for vaccinated, recovered or tested persons as well as the minimum distance. The limits for day visitors have also been dropped. This means that season tickets are now available again.

Michael Degen, Executive Director of Messe Düsseldorf, said additional hygiene and infection control standards would remain in place. The aim is to provide disinfectant dispensers, to clean contact surfaces more frequently and to retain the transparent partition walls at cash desks. The disposal of spittoons would be optimised and tasting glasses would now be rinsed at the temperature of 60°C. The fair also continues to recommend wearing medical masks and using the additional space provided for at least 1.5 metres distance from other participants. ProWein will take place from 15 to 17 May.
