The German Wine Institute (DWI) continues its online seminars on German wine regions with thirteen events. The "WeinEntdeckerWissen" video conferences start on the first Thursday of every month at 7 pm. Wine professionals discuss the wines of one wine-growing region at a time with DWI seminar leader Manuel Bertschi. The series starts on 4 March with the Ahr wine-growing region. Alexander Kohnen, managing director of the International Wine Institute in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, has been invited as a speaker. Three wines typical of the region will be tasted during the seminars; the wine packages can be ordered in advance from participating specialist retailers. Participation is free of charge. According to the DWI, the seminars will be offered via a common video chat platform.
Further information as well as the schedule of the series can be found online at the German Wine Institute.
