Vincent Perrin, Director General of the Comité Interprofessionnel du Vin de Champagne (CIVC), intends to resign from his post in a few weeks' time without giving any reason. He has announced this in a press release. He had been appointed director of the Champagne industry association in 2015. Perrin's only justification is that he wants to "give his career a new direction". He would hand over his duties to his deputy step by step and by the end of January.
