The series of price reductions for the 2023 Bordeaux vintage continues. Château Haut-Brion has now caused a stir in the fine wine scene: those responsible for the wine, which is also very highly rated, have set the price per bottle (ex-Négociant) at 312 euros. This is a reduction of around 40 per cent compared to the previous year. The white wine Château Haut-Brion blanc, on the other hand, is only ten per cent cheaper.

Cheval Blanc has also announced only a moderate price reduction: the price will fall to 384 euros in 2023, which is around 18 per cent cheaper than at the start of sales in 2022. At that time, the bottle price (ex-Négociant) was 470 euros.

Other châteaux have also announced their ex-vineyard prices (ex-Négociant):

Château La Mission Haut-Brion 2023: 180 euros (-31.8%)
Château Lynch-Bages 2023: 72 euros (-31.8%)
Château Léoville Barton 2023: 55.80 euros (-13.1%)
