The WineBank Group opens its first branch in Switzerland. The private wine club is located in Bern's Old Town and is managed by hotelier Maurice Bridel, who operates the local restaurants Bonbec, Bay, and Sua with his wife. According to company information, the opening of further locations is planned in the next twelve months.

In Bern's Kramgasse, wine lovers can store their wines on approximately 300 square meters and gather for tastings and business meetings. With their Member’s Card, members can use the WineBank around the clock, seven days a week. They also receive flexible access to all locations in the network in Germany, Austria, and the USA.

Members can serve guests with their own stored wines. Alternatively, the private Terravigna Wine Shop and a “by the Glass” wine dispensing system are available. A selection of wines can be tasted here by the glass at the push of a button. The location was financed by 27 entrepreneurs from Bern, Zurich, and Zug.

“The demand is high; the first 50 members have already stored their wine treasures in the WineBank. An important part of our offering is ‘money can’t buy’ wine experiences. As part of high-profile events, we will frequently host outstanding personalities and taste fantastic wines together!” says Maurice Bridel.

The grand opening will take place on October 3, 2024.
