The VDP has agreed on a partnership with the Essen-based digital company GrapeAlliance. This means that the "GrapeManager" software is available to members.
With "GrapeManager", GrapeAlliance has developed a digital platform for the wine industry. The customers - such as vintners, wine marketing agencies, wine brands and traders - can use it to access the Wine Market Monitor (WMM). This analysis tool monitors the digital wine market online and analyses the data according to customer-specific criteria. More than 2,000 different apps and websites would be taken into account. Customers could follow and download the most important market data of their products in a continuous report online. This includes information on traded prices and offers in the German online market, availabilities as well as contacts to trade partners and third-party dealers. The aim is to create a verifiable basis for customers to use as a basis for developing data-based pricing and sales strategies, increasing sales opportunities and thus boosting turnover.
