At the wine auction of the VDP together with the traditional Rheingau winery Kloster Eberbach on 6 March 2021, two hundred-year-old bottles will also be auctioned this year.
The charity wine from the cellar of Kloster Eberbach is a Spätburgunder Assmannshäuser Höllenberg from 1921, which will be accompanied by a Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese from the famous Rheingau top vineyard Erbacher Marcobrunn of the same vintage. The proceeds of the charity wine will go to the Philipp Kraft Foundation to strengthen the awareness of democracy among young people in Germany between the ages of 14 and 18.
The other auction wines from the Rheingau VDP estates are from the 1961 to 2019 vintages. The auction can be followed live on Youtube.
