Tannico, Italy's largest online shop for wine and spirits, reports a profit increase of 82.5 percent for the year 2020. According to a press release, the earnings increased from 20.6 million euro to 37.5 million euro. A total of 2.5 million bottles were shipped - this is an increase of 95 per cent compared to 2019. In addition, the online supplier, which was founded eight years ago, recorded a record number of orders last year: Around 7,500 orders were received within 24 hours.
Campari Group acquired a 49 per cent stake in Tannico last year. The provider recently launched "Tannico Express" in Milan, a fast service where the ordered wine is delivered at the right temperature within 90 minutes.
