The company Italian Wine Crypto Bank (IWCB) has developed a personal sommelier based on artificial intelligence. Using "Generative Pre-training Transformer technology", the Personal GPT Sommelier is tuned to the needs and tastes of customers and can give advice on wine combinations and labels in their own cellar at any time. With his artificial memory, he is supposed to remember what his customers have drunk and eaten based on his previous suggestions.
The new sommelier will be introduced to the public in March at the world's first "hybrid wine bar" in Bergamo. The bar, called "BG3.0 Wine Bank" at Piazzetta Santo Spirito, will combine the real world with a digital and interactive environment.
Founded and managed by Rosario Scarpato, the Italian Wine Crypto Bank is part of the Crypto World Wine Bank Project.
