A historically significant find of over 4,000 bottles of "priceless" wines and spirits has been reported by the Greek Ministry of Culture. These were discovered during renovation work at the Tatoi Palace, the summer residence of the former Greek royal family. Among the rare drops found in the collection are bottles of Château Margaux, Château de Vincennes and Château Mouton Rothschild, as well as a limited edition ceramic bottle of Chivas whisky made to celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Not all of the 300 boxes found have been opened and catalogued yet. Specialists from the Achaia Clauss winery were called in for this. Part of the collection is to be exhibited in the future museum in the palace.
