The London Wine Fair is also being moved. The new date is now 7 to 9 June. The fair management is thus reacting to the postponement of ProWein, which last week announced the new date from 15 to 17 May. This would have meant that both wine fairs would have run in parallel and many exhibitors would have had to decide whether to participate in London or Düsseldorf. According to the fair management, there was a great desire on the part of the wineries to postpone the fair. The new date of the London Wine Fair will thus take place directly after the celebrations of the British Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

"The eyes of the world will be on London in early June for celebrations not seen since the 2012 Olympics," says London Wine Fair director Hannah Tovey, explaining the new date.
