The German Organic Winegrowers' Association Ecovin has elected Georg Forster (left) as its new chairman. He succeeds Andreas Hattemer (right) from Weingut Kronenhof, who has held the position since 2015. Forster has been active in the association for many years and previously served as Chief Financial Officer.

There was also a change in management. On 1 April 2024, Ralph Dejas took over the federal office in Oppenheim from Petra Neuber, who is taking parental leave. Dejas was already Managing Director of Ecovin from 2009 to 2021. Over the past three years, he has gained experience as a project manager in the field of biodiversity and development cooperation at the Global Nature Fund.

The new Chief Financial Officer is Martin Philipps (Weingut Philipps-Mühle), while Hanneke Schönhals (Weingut Schönhals) remains Spokeswoman of the Board. Pauline Frischen (Schlossgut Diel), Paulin Köpfer (Weingut Köpfer), Jonathan Kolling (Weingut Keber-Kolling), Katharine Lindenstruth (Weingüter Hofmann and Willems-Willems) and Philipp Rieger (Weingut Rieger) are members of the board.
