The wineries Wein am Stein - Ludwig Knoll**** in Franconia, Tement***** in southern Styria and the sparkling wine estate Christmann&Kauffmann in the Palatinate are new members of the winery group"respekt-BIODYN". This brings the association, founded in 2007, to 28 members with 31 wineries in Austria, Germany, Italy, Hungary and Slovenia.
The different number of members and wineries results from the fact that it is not the wineries but the respective farm managers who join the association.
The newly founded sparkling wine estate of Steffen and Sophie Christmann***** and the Alsatian winemaker Mathieu Kauffmann is expected to launch its first sparkling wine in 2025. The Weingut am Stein is located in Würzburg, Franconia, and has been run organically by Sandra and Ludwig Knoll since 2008. The Tement winery has been using organic farming methods since 2005. The 80 hectares of vineyards in southern Styria also include 20 hectares of the Domaine Ciringa in nearby Slovenia.

The combined vineyard area of all "respekt-BIODYN" winegrowers thus amounts to 1,035 hectares. Chairman Michael Goëss-Enzenberg from the Manincor**** winery in South Tyrol welcomes the new members: "Our aim is to make regenerative agriculture even better known and to inspire as many winegrowers as possible to join. We are of course very pleased when such renowned and pioneering farms accept our invitation and join us."

"respekt-BIODYN", according to its own definition, is an association of people who have dedicated themselves to the goal of producing wines of the highest quality and individuality using biodynamic methods.
