Italian winemaker Roberto Felluga has died at the age of 63 after a long illness. Felluga managed the family winery Marco Felluga in Gradisca d'Isonzo, which was founded by his father in 1956, and the top winery Russiz Superiore in Capriva del Friuli, both in the heart of the Collio. Roberto Felluga was able to contribute his many years of experience as president of the regional economic department in the Confagricoltura agricultural association and as vice-president of the Collio Consortium. With his striving for quality, he has contributed significantly to the international positioning of the wines of the Collio. His daughter Ilaria, who has already assisted him for several years, will continue his work.
