The Swedish company Water & Wines has developed a series of wine puzzles with which wine enthusiasts can playfully acquire knowledge about wine regions, important designations, food pairing and much more. All graphics and pictures on the puzzles are hand-drawn and designed by wine professionals. Behind them is an international team around the founder and sommelière Yamit Viitaoja. The puzzles are currently available for the following countries and regions: Italy, France, South Africa, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Australia, California and the whisky puzzle Scotland. The puzzles each consist of 1,000 pieces and cost 39 euros.
For every puzzle sold, the company wants to plant a tree and donate money to improve global access to clean drinking water. According to the manufacturer, all materials used are recyclable, and all puzzles and prints are to be produced in the EU in compliance with the strictest environmental standards.
