Seven wineries have now been destroyed by the devastating wildfires in California, and others have suffered light to severe damage. The Californian daily newspaper "East Bay Times" has compiled a list. According to this list, the fires have burned down these estates:
Bremen Family Winery, St. Helena
Chateau Boswell, St. Helena
Hunnicutt Winery, St. Helena
Burgess Cellars, Deer Park
Castello di Amorosa, Calistoga
Fairwinds Estate Winery, Calistoga
Hourglass Wine, St. Helena and Calistoga
Currently, the fires in the wine region are spreading almost explosively, thousands of people had to leave their homes and were evacuated.
