The holding company El Enebro, behind the entire Tempos Vega Sicilia group, appointed Antonio Menéndez as its new General Manager a few days ago. According to the Spanish media, the chairman of the supervisory board, Pablo Álvarez, announced that he is to expand the international business and develop a longer-term strategy for all assets.
Antonio Menéndez has been working for Tempos Vega Sicilia since 2015. He has been in charge of marketing and sales, increasing the number of export nations from 89 to 141, and prior to its launch worked for the cinema group Paramount Pictures as well as Pepsi and L'Oreal.
The group includes Vega Sicilia and Alión in Ribera, Pintia in Toro and Oremus in Hungary. The company also runs the Macán winery in Rioja with the Bordeaux Rothschild family.
