The Parliamentary Wine Forum resumed its work on 23 June 2022. In the constituent meeting, the members of the Bundestag Artur Auernhammer, Harald Ebner, Carina Konrad, Isabel Mackensen-Geis and Alexander Ulrich came together to declare their goals for the current legislative period. In the next four years, wine culture in Germany is to be promoted and, at the same time, the members of the German Bundestag are to be made aware of current problems and challenges facing the German wine industry. The dialogue between the members of the German Bundestag, the wine industry and the winegrowers is very important. In the first session, there was already a technical exchange with Dr. Michael Koehler, the head of the department for wine, beer and the beverage industry at the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
