The pressure is "very high", said Pascal Hénot, winemaker and consultant at the Coutras Oenological Centre. The amount of sprays used is currently 50 percent higher than in an average year. In the Médoc, for example, the pressure is currently "extremely high". In some regions, the loss is 50 percent. Some organic farms have already been sprayed more than ten times.
