The German Wine Institute (DWI) offers more than 200 events on the topic of wine in 2023. In the current seminar overview, 20 different advanced training courses are available for gastronomy, trade as well as end consumers. New in the programme are the seminars "Wine Discourse I and II", which are dedicated to the terroir of wine with tastings and lectures, but at the same time also address the challenges of climate change or the generational change in the wine industry.Wine producers can further educate themselves in the area of personnel management or search engine optimisation for their Webpages.
A new online seminar is offered for restaurateurs on how to increase their wine sales. The free monthly "WeinentdeckerWissen" seminar series on current wine trends is also still available online. End consumers can expand their wine knowledge in wine enjoyment and tasting seminars. In addition, the DWI offers two in-house seminars for groups: the basic seminar "Recognised Consultant for German Wine" and the wine sensory seminar.
