Restaurant guests in the USA and Great Britain would be very reluctant to go out to eat after the restaurants reopened. This is the finding of the market research institutes Nielsen in the USA and Ipsos Mori in Great Britain.

According to the surveys, only 22 percent of former customers in the USA would go out to eat again immediately after permission was granted, 28 percent only where there was sufficient distance to neighbouring tables. 23 percent of the guests would wait until the number of people suffering from Covid-19 in the country no longer increased.

In Great Britain, 29 percent would return to bars, pubs and restaurants immediately after permission was granted. 61 percent would "feel uncomfortable" and would refrain from visiting them for the time being.
