Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte the Coopérative Régionale des Vins de Champagne Castelnau (C.R.V.C), two of the largest producers of the region, want to decide their merger in 2021. This was announced by the cooperatives. According to this, the merger would be discussed and voted by the members in June 2021. Currently, about 6,000 vintners are growing grapes for both producers.
As early as now, Nicolas Feuillatte is considered to be the largest producer in the Champagne region. With the merger, both companies want to "strengthen the movement of the cooperatives as well as the social security of the members". After the merger, a new name is also to be found.
