The family-run Champagne house Duval-Leroy commissioned the renowned tattoo artist Chaim Machlev to design the box for a special edition. The limited "Coffret Héritage" contains two bottles each of the vintages 1988, 1997, and 2002 of the Cuvée Fleur de Champagne, limited to 750 pieces. According to Raymond Duval-Leroy, the name Héritage represents "a continuity of time that borders on the eternal: This vision led to the idea of collaborating with a tattoo artist." Thus, the elegance of the champagne should be connected with the contemporary art of tattooing.

Chaim Machlev and his studio DotsToLines are known for their graphic works and have previously designed jewelry, fashion, cars, and stage shows. He said about the collaboration: "Ultimately, this is about tradition and an old craft that has been adapted over the years." Charles Duval-Leroy added: "A family-run champagne house has a unique relationship with time. It takes a lot of patience to cultivate, produce, select, and age champagne. Designing a box with a tattoo artist elegantly summarizes our heritage."
