Hollywood star Brad Pitt, partner of the southern French rosé winery Château Miraval, has introduced the champagne "Fleur de Miraval". It is a cooperation project with the champagne house Pierre Pèters in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. The rosé consists of 75 percent Chardonnay and 25 percent Pinot Noir and is said to cost 340 euros in retail. "Fleur de Miraval" is the result of a cooperation that has been running for five years, Pitt told the "Decanter". Currently, 20,000 bottles have been rpoiduced. The rosé was created using the Saigner method, which is not very common in Champagne. The Perrin family from Château de Beaucastel in Châteauneuf, who also have a stake in Château Miraval, were also involved in the work.
