The French online auction house iDealwine has set a new record: a few days ago, a bottle of Musigny 2006 from Domaine Leroy (Burgundy) was auctioned there for 28,244 euros. This was announced by the auction house. The winning bidder was a British bidder.

The result sets the record for the most expensive bottle ever auctioned by iDealwine. It follows the Musigny 2001, which was auctioned for 17,499 euros in 2020, the auction house said. According to this, the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is only in third place: A bottle of Romanée-Conti of the 2000 vintage already achieved the price of 17,146 euro in 2017.
