Wine can be incredible fun - if it's a good wine. But our VDP.wines are not only good, as you will soon discover: They are among the best you can get not only in Germany, but worldwide. As you may have heard, the VDP is not a short-lived marketing invention, but has seen itself as the avant-garde of wine and the opposite of mediocrity and mass-produced goods since its foundation in 1910. We are a little proud of this, because with this mission we have set standards and brought German wines back to the drink menus of top international restaurants. Our winemakers are passionate winemakers by turns, who can be called "wine crazy" in a positive sense. You will quickly notice this in a conversation with them - ideally over a glass of VDP wine.
All VDP winegrowers are subject to strict rules that are clearly above those prescribed by the German legislator for "quality wine". The focus is on the origin of the wines and the sustainable work in the vineyard as well as in the cellar. The result is wines that show great individuality from the very first sip. No two wineries are the same - just as each wine has its own unique character.
