The world's largest online wine retailer wine.com has increased its turnover by 119 per cent to a record value of around 329 million dollars in 2020. This was declared by company founder and CEO Michael Osborn at an online conference. Previously, the company had recorded a steady annual growth of 15 to 20 percent since 2007. The company had nearly 700,000 customers last year. Wine.com recorded around 46 million visits in 2020, reaching a new daily record of almost 257,000 on 15 December 2020.
Wine.com currently offers more than 50,000 wines from 8,000 producers, works with 400 wholesalers and operates six retail delivery centres spread across the US.
