The organisers of the VieVinum wine trade fair, which will take place from 21 to 23 May 2022 at the Vienna Hofburg, have announced a mentoring programme for Austria's young winemakers. Under the motto "VieVinum inspires - passion for wine", renowned personalities from business and society will be on hand as mentors to provide young winemakers with experience and inspiration. Topics may include questions of everyday entrepreneurial life, succession, internationalisation, dealing with crises and the effects of climate change on one's own business, economy and society.
Applications were invited from winegrowers between the ages of 18 and 35 who have recently taken over or founded a business. The programme takes place within the framework of the newly created Gerd A. Hoffmann Academy. The founder of VieVinum, who passed away in the summer of 2021, always supported and encouraged young winemaking talent.
