The association of the top wineries Primum Familiae Vini has elected Matthieu Perrin from the well-known winery Château de Beaucastel on the Rhône as new president. His term of office lasts one year. He succeeds his cousin Marc Perrin in this office. Matthieu Perrin intends to continue the course of the association of family-run top wineries with a focus on quality and the artisan roots of the operations. Members of Primum Familiae Vini are Antinori, Joseph Drouhin, Egon Müller Scharzhof, Hugel, Torres, Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Perrin, Tempo Vega Sicilia, Tenuta San Guido, Symington Family Estates, Pol Roger and the Domaine Clarence Dillon.
