The Spanish wine trade fair Barcelona Wine Week (BWW) will take place from 7 to 9 February 2022. The fair management of Fira Barcelona announced the participation of more than 600 wineries. The spectrum ranges from small family businesses to large corporations. The organisers want to highlight the quality and diversity of the Spanish wine offer and thus attract national and international buyers. The fair is to be divided into two large areas: the main area "BWW Lands", which gathers wineries with designations of origin and other quality brands as well as organic and biodynamic wines, and "BWW Groups & Complements" for companies offering equipment, accessories and services for the wine sector. According to Javier Pagés, President of BWW and DO Cava, "BWW contributes greatly to the recovery of the wine sector and to boosting the export of our best wines".
