Hochschule Geisenheim University will be holding two online events on 8 January and 5 February at 7 p.m. to provide information about the part-time MBA distance learning course "Management in the Wine Industry". This offers specialists and managers the opportunity to gain further academic qualifications and is a recognised further education course at university level. The certificates obtained can be recognised when transferring to a Master's degree course at a later date.

At the information events, course director Prof. Dr Jon Hanf explains the opportunities offered by the German-language course. The programme comprises a total of twelve modules covering topics such as personnel management, business management, tax issues in the wine industry and controlling. Current viticultural and oenological issues are also dealt with in a practical manner. In each of the four semesters, between six and eight attendance days - on Fridays and Saturdays - take place at Hochschule Geisenheim University.

The programme starts in both the summer and winter semesters. The cost per individual module is 1,500 euros, for the entire programme with twelve modules 12,000 euros. Further information on the part-time MBA distance learning programme "Management in the Wine Industry" is available online.
