The wine mail order company Hawesko has opened its first store in Hamburg. According to Hawesko, the flagship store, which opened on 13 April 2018, is intended to improve direct contact with customers. The company's internal tasting rooms have been connected to the store. The "Friday Wine" event, which has also been an internal company event up to now, at which employees were able to get to know new wines in the range, is now to be opened to customers. In addition, tastings with winemakers are to focus on the shop's communication function. However, there are no plans for further stationary shops under the name Hawesko.
