The Hamburg PR agency ff.k Public Relations, which specialises in wine and cuisine, has opened a branch in Zurich. After many years of experience with clients in Switzerland, ff.k not only wants to strengthen its own position there with this step, but also its position within the European agency network "Food & Wine Republic".
According to the agency, the move reflects its economic development: a relevant part of its turnover is now generated in the German and French-speaking parts of Switzerland. "We now know the market so well that it is a logical step to establish a branch," says Elke Fierenz, one of the three partners, explaining the decision.
The agency's 18-strong team advises consortia, export associations and brand producers from the European countries of origin. Among the clients ff.k has worked for many years are the associations and consortia for wines from Provence, Côtes du Rhône, Prosecco DOC, Lugana, DO Rueda and DO Ribera del Duero. Zurich is the agency's first location in addition to its headquarters in Hamburg.
