The election for the 75th German Wine Queen begins on Saturday, 23 September. The twelve candidates have to answer questions about winemaking, wine marketing and the handling of wine competently and precisely live on stage. Afterwards, a jury of around 70 experts will decide which five candidates will enter the final on 29 September.
The preliminary decision on the coming Saturday will be shown from 4 p.m. in a livestream on deutscheweine.de and swr.de/weinkoenigin . It will also be broadcast on SWR television on Sunday, 24 September at 2 pm. The final election gala on 29 September will be broadcast live by SWR from 8.15 p.m. both on TV and online.
