The German Wine Queen Sina Erdrich and the two Wine Princesses Linda Trarbach and Saskia Teucke are on a 13-day tour through the German wine-growing regions in a camper van. This "wine camping tour" was set up by the German Wine Institute (DWI) together with the outdoor travel expert Roadsurfer. In doing so, they want to show how well German wineries and winegrowers' cooperatives have adapted to the growing trend towards individual camper holidays.

On their tour, the wine sovereigns will mainly camp on the sites of wineries. In each region, they will visit one of the most beautiful wine views and excellent vinotheques awarded by the DWI, as well as a highlight of wine culture.
DWI Managing Director Monika Reule explains the aim of the campaign: "With this tour, we want to encourage all motorhome tourists to 'experience' our scenic wine landscapes and show them wine tourism highlights. Thanks to the numerous individual pitches at the wine producers, you can also get to know and enjoy the regional wines on site without any worries".
