On 21 April, the new series "Drops of God" will be launched on Apple TV+ - based on the successful Japanese manga "Kami no shizuku". It centres on the daughter of the celebrated French wine expert Alexandre Léger, who is to inherit a very special wine collection after his death. Experts describe it as the largest "wine collection in the world". From Paris, Camille Léger has to travel to Tokyo, where her father spent his last years. There she meets young oenologist Issei Tomine, a protégé of her father. To get her inheritance, Camille, who knows nothing about wine, must pass three sensory tests: If she fails, the inheritance goes to her rival Issei. The two compete ambitiously against each other. Who will win in the end? The biological daughter or the professional?
The series was produced by Klaus Zimmermann and directed by Oded Ruskin. The series runs for eight episodes.
