What is natural wine?

Natural wine is a generic term for wines that have been produced without certain aids and/or processes that are common in winemaking. The term is not defined by wine law and is prohibited as an advertising attribute.

Many natural wines are biodynamically produced, vinified in amphorae or similar, preferably open containers (sometimes in the so-called kachetic process), not sulphurised, not fined and/or not filtered
