With first-class sparkling wines, a comparison with champagne is almost inevitable. With Corpinnat, however, this only makes sense in order to make the stylistic differences clear. After all, this is not a copy, but an original.

Good Corpinnat is tart and juicy, at its best dense, grippy, complex and deep - and usually bone dry. The growing region and variety composition ensure sparkling wines with noticeably lower acidity, and the carbonic acid pressure is also often lower than one is used to from other sparkling wines. The best grape material, yeast and fine phenolic must ensure firmness and grip here. The use of dosage would be rather out of place with many of these wines, even if there are excellent exceptions.
